What’s TOP-IX
The TOP-IX Consortium has been active since 2002 in managing an Internet Exchange for the exchange of Internet traffic in the North West area.
Concurrently, since 2006, it has provided support to technological innovation projects, manages a streaming platform, and addresses topics such as Cloud, Open Data, Big Data and Social Innovation.

TOP-IX (TOrino Piemonte Internet eXchange) is a non-profit consortium established with the aim of creating and managing an Internet Exchange (IX) for the exchange of Internet traffic in the North West area.
Starting from a strong rooting in the Piedmont territory, TOP-IX operates in that global, borderless space which is the network. n addition to building and managing the network infrastructure to provide the typical services of an Internet Exchange (peering, trasport, marketplace), it promotes and supports projects of innovation and/or business based on the use of broadband Internet.
The two actions work synergistically to foster the growth of the territory.
